10 Days Short Course Training program on “"In situ Conservation of Indigenous Livestock and Poultry Breeds”

ICAR-NBAGR is organizing 10 Days Short Course Training program on “In situ Conservation of Indigenous Livestock and Poultry Breeds” during 25 October - 3 November, 2017 sponsored by Agricultural Education Division, ICAR.

The training iscomprehensively designed to learnabout various strategies for conservation of indigenous livestock and poultry resources of the country. Various lectures and practical demonstration under different modules related to status, characterization, evaluation, utilization, in situ as well as ex situ conservation of indigenous animal genetic resources will be presented during the short course.

Interested candidates of ICAR, SAU/SVU with Master’s Degree and working not below the rank of Assistant professor and equivalent may online apply for the training programme through website “CBP Vortal” of Agricultural Education Division, ICAR with following web address- http://cbp.icar.gov.in/
