ICAR-National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resource, Karnal (Haryana) is a premier
institute dedicated to work with its mandate.
(i) identification, evaluation,
characterization, conservation and utilization of livestock and poultry genetic
resources of the country
(ii) Coordination & capacity building in Animal Genetic
Resource management & policy issues.
NBAGR invites nominations for BREED
CONSERVATION AWARD for conserving and maintaining the registered Breeds
of livestock and poultry. Annually Four (4) breed conservation awards are given. The award will carry a cash Prize of Rs 10,000/- (Ten thousand only) and a Certificate/Citation. ICAR-NBAGR will provide accommodation, local hospitality and travel support, restricted to train fare (AC-III tier), to the awardee and one accompanying person. The awards will be conferred on 21st September 2018, the Foundation Day of ICAR-NBAGR.
